San Antonio FC midfielder Cristian Parano was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week, the league announced today. Parano scored his third goal of the season and added his second assist in last weekend’s 3-0 win over OKC Energy FC.
Parano started, played 82 minutes and was named the SWBC Man of the Match following the win. Along with his goal and assist, the 20-year-old added four shots, two shots on target, one chance created and a 100.0 percent passing accuracy.
The honor marks the second for Parano this season after he was named to the Team of the Week for the first time in 2020 on July 28.
