SAFC heads into the match after falling 0-3 at New Mexico United on Sunday, however the club will look to get back in the winning column and add to its home winning streak after recording victories against Tacoma Defiance, LA Galaxy II, and Las Vegas Lights FC in their last three outings at Toyota Field.
Orange County SC will look to earn their second consecutive win after beating Phoenix Rising FC 2-1 at home last Saturday. The club has yet to record a win on the road, posting a 0-2-2 record when playing away. OCSC has scored 17 goals while conceding 15 in nine matches so far this season and find themselves in ninth place in the standings.
Midfielder Brian Gomez will play an important role for the Alamo City club in the attack. The Argentinian has tallied two goals and leads the team with three assists, while also recording eight shots, and 10 chances created in six appearances.
On the other end, SAFC defender Kai Greene leads the team in interception (15), tackles (32), tackles won (20), duels won (82), and aerial duels won (33). Collectively, SAFC has recorded two shutouts in their last three outings at home, conceding just one goal against Las Vegas on April 6. The Alamo City club is 1-1-1 all-time against OCSC when playing at Toyota Field.
