
San Antonio FC (4-0-1) will face Seattle Sounders 2 at Starfire Sports on Tuesday, April 25 at 9:30 p.m. The match will mark the third time the two clubs face each other and the second of a three-match road trip in the span of seven days for SAFC.

San Antonio FC will look to remain undefeated this season with a win in Seattle. The club previously earned a 2-1 win in Vancouver on Saturday, and is now one of only two clubs in the USL who have yet to record a loss. SAFC is currently first in the Western Conference, leading Real Monarchs SLC by one point in the standings.
Seattle heads into the match after recording a 1-3 loss against Real Monarchs on Saturday, marking the club’s third loss this season. The Sounders have scored six goals and conceded 10 so far this season, and will aim to earn their third win of 2017 and second at home when San Antonio FC visits.
SAFC midfielder Billy Forbes will lead the attack for SAFC. Forbes currently leads the club and Western Conference with four goals, and his team-leading three assists are also tied for most in the conference. Forbes has scored in all but one match so far this season, and has contributed an assist in every match the club has won by more than one goal.
The match will mark the third time the two clubs have met. Last season, San Antonio FC recorded a season sweep over Seattle after recording a 3-0 win on the road in the Silver and Black’s inaugural match and a 2-0 win at Toyota Field on August 20.
Following the match in Seattle, SAFC will travel to Portland to face Portland Timbers 2 on Friday in the club’s third and final match of their seven-day road trip.
