
San Antonio FC has added midfielder Zachary Herivaux on loan from the New England Revolution (MLS), the club announced today. Herivaux has spent the last two years with the Revolution first team.
The third ever Homegrown player for the Revolution, Herivaux has made five total appearances for the New England first team, totaling 38 minutes in 2016. The 21-year-old played four seasons with the Revolution Academy and was named the Academy Player of the Year in 2014. Herivaux played in all four of the Revolution’s U.S. Open Cup games in 2016 and represented the club at the 2016 Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game in San Jose, Ca.
Herivaux has represented the Haitian national team at both the U-20 and U-23 levels and played for his country in the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championships. Herivaux was also called into the U-23 national team for the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship in 2015. The midfielder was originally born in Japan and holds citizenship there along with the United States and Haiti.
With the loan signing of Herivaux, the current SAFC roster stands at 25.
San Antonio FC travels to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for three straight road matches against Whitecaps FC 2, Sounders 2 and Timbers 2. The club will return home and kick-off a three-match homestand starting on May 6 vs. the Sacramento Republic.
