San Antonio FC will face Swope Park Rangers at Swope Soccer Village on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The match will be the third and final time the two clubs meet this season as both look to solidify a Western Conference playoff position.
SAFC will head into the match looking for their fourth consecutive win after earning three in a row from Aug. 17 to Aug. 27. The team scored six goals and conceded only two while also recording two clean sheets as they tied their season-high winning streak.
Swope Park Rangers will continue their push for a playoff position at home, where they earned a 2-1 win over LA Galaxy II on Saturday. Swope trail eighth-place San Antonio FC by just one point in the standings, while Arizona United and Real Monarchs trail Swope within three points.

The two clubs tied 1-1 on April 9 in the Alamo City club’s home opener, before SAFC narrowly fell to SPR 1-2 on July 30. San Antonio has now scored 31 goals and conceded 25 this season, while Swope has both scored and conceded 32.
The match will be San Antonio’s second match in five days, and the club’s fifth midweek match this season. SAFC has yet to lose a midweek match in its inaugural campaign after earning two wins and two draws in their previous matchups.
