San Antonio FC defender Milton Palacios has been named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance against Portland Timbers 2 on June 11, the USL announced this afternoon. Palacios played 90 minutes and was named the SWBC Man of the Match after scoring a goal in the 87th minute to earn a valuable road point for San Antonio.
Palacios has tallied 904 minutes played and has started and played 90 minutes in 10 of 12 USL matches this season. Palacios has also played one U.S. Open Cup match, playing 22 minutes and collecting an assist against Corinthians FC SA in the second round. The Honduran native signed for SAFC prior to the season after spending 2015 with the San Antonio Scorpions (NASL).
