Requirements For Volunteering
- All coaches must complete and pass an NCSI (National Center of Safety Initiatives) background check.
- All coaches are required to attend the Positive Coaching Alliance Workshop.
- All coaches are required to wear the SAFC Micro League Coaches’ shirt given to them at the completion of the coaches’ workshop.
- All coaches must abide by the rules of the SAFC Micro League as stated in the Coaches’ Handbook.
Coaches Workshops
All volunteer coaches are required to attend a preseason workshop presented by Positive Coaching Alliance – Central Texas. Spurs Give will schedule workshops, and all coaches will be notified of the time and location.
Once coaches have completed and cleared the background check and attended the Positive Coaching Alliance workshop, they will be given a Micro League coaches’ t-shirt they are required to wear to all sessions on Saturdays.
