SAFC opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Jamieson IV buried a rebound off his own shot past goalkeeper Justin vom Steeg to make it 1-0. The goal marks the LA native’s second of the season as he scored against his former club.

SAFC will look to earn their second win of the season after beating Las Vegas Lights 2-1 last weekend with goals from forwards Bradford Jamieson IV and Ever Guzman, the latter of which currently leads the club with two goals on the season and 17 overall in USL Championship play. The Alamo City club has created 58 chances in five matches played, while their 77 shots rank third in the West.

“We felt that the players got rewarded for a good performance on Saturday and we were able to earn the win,” SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell said. “We went back to practice this week ready to improve to set ourselves up against LA and put ourselves in a position to earn all three points again.”

Los Dos head into the match looking to earn their third consecutive win after earning a convincing 4-2 victory against first-place Tulsa Roughnecks FC. The Galaxy II has scored 11 an impressive 11 goals in five matches, however their 13 goals conceded are the second-most in the entire USL Championship.

San Antonio FC is 2-1-3 all-time against Los Dos, tallying a 2-1-0 record when playing at Toyota Field and outscoring the Galaxy II 9-6 overall and 7-5 when playing at home. San Antonio FC will broadcast 10 matches on the FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) network during the 2019 USL Championship season, the club announced today. Eight home matches and two road matches will air live between May 11 and October 11.    

FOX Sports Southwest’s coverage of the season begins against Orange County SC on Saturday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. from Toyota Field. FSSW will also air a second home matchup on May 18 when SAFC takes on the Tulsa Roughnecks before the network hits the road to cover San Antonio’s match at Sacramento Republic FC on June 1. All 10 matches will air on FSSW Plus – FOX Sports Southwest’s alternate channel.

Six home matches between June 8 and August 24 have also been selected for coverage, including the July 3 match against rivals Austin Bold FC, and the August 24 match against Western Conference expansion side New Mexico United. FOX Sports Southwest’s coverage of the 2019 San Antonio FC season will conclude on the road on Friday, October 11 in Portland when the Alamo City club faces the Timbers 2.

Las Vegas heads into the match in search of their first away win of the season after falling to OKC Energy FC and Portland Timbers 2 in their only road games so far. The Lights have scored three goals while conceding five in their four outings, however the club is tied with SAFC and Louisville City FC for most shots in the league (65).

San Antonio FC is 2-0-0 all-time against Las Vegas after earning two 3-1 wins against the club last season. Fans can meet Bonner and the Coyote starting at 6:15 p.m. by the South Gate inside Toyota Field, where they can receive an autographed card from the former Spur, while supplies last, and take photos with the Coyote.

Fans in attendance can take photos with all five Spurs NBA Championship trophies by visiting the Sky Suite on suite level by section 101 beginning at 6:15 p.m. The Spurs Championship banners will also be available for photo-ops in Fan Fiesta, located on the north end of the stadium.

San Antonio FC is also offering a special edition SAFC/Spurs scarf which can be purchased along with a ticket starting at just $20. Those who purchase the ticket and scarf package can pick up their scarf in Fan Fiesta. Austin found the lone goal of the match in the 77th minute when forward Kleber found the back of the net following a corner kick for the 1-0 lead. SAFC had close chances from forward Ever Guzman and midfielder Walter Restrepo in the dying moments of the match, however both chances floated just over the crossbar.

SAFC created nine chances on goal throughout the night and outshot the Bold 9-6, all the while holding the majority of possession with 54 percent. San Antonio FC defenders Josh Yaro and Kai Greene led the team with four tackles each, while defender Ebenezer Ackon recorded a team-high eight clearances.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Viscosi and midfielders Leeroy Maguraushe and Brian Gomez made their first San Antonio FC starts on the night. Viscosi recorded one save on the night while Maguraushe and Gomez recorded one chance created a piece.
