Quotes:
Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the pair of goals coming so close together…)
“They were more or less doing what we did from the opening foot to the end …
Being on the front food, being aggressive. Looking to turn and look beyond, and making good decisions with the final actions and then execution … Obviously in the moment you’re excited, you hear the fans celebrating, the players all celebrating together. It’s a powerful moment for everyone here.”
Defender Mitchell Taintor
(On the win…)
“Obviously we really wanted to get a shutout, but I thought overall we dominated the game. We deserved to win. And we probably should’ve three or four more goals, especially in the second half. I think we built into the game really well. But really happy with the three points. It’s not always going to be pretty, or a three or four zero score, but three points is three points.”
