
Toyota Field will host Liga MX sides C.F. Monterrey and Club Leon on Sunday, July 7 at 4:30 p.m. in an exhibition match, presented by SPD Sports. The two clubs have combined to win 11 Liga MX championships, while Leon heads to the Alamo City after finishing the 2019 Clausura season as runner-up.
Tickets for the match are on sale now to the general public and can be purchased online by visiting Ticketmaster.com, with prices starting at $38. Tickets are also available for purchase now at the AT&T Center box office and will be available at the Toyota Field box office on match day.
Monterrey is a four-time Liga MX champion, most recently winning the Apertura 2010 title. The club has also won the Copa MX twice, most recently the Apertura 2017, and has also claimed one Campeon de Campeones and one Supercopa MX. ‘Rayados’ are also the defending CONCACAF Champions League winners and have won the title on four occasions. On the world stage, Monterrey won their first FIFA Club World Cup in 2012.

The Guanajuato club reached the final of the Clausura 2019 this past May, narrowly falling to Tigres UANL 0-1 on aggregate in the final. Leon has also won five Copa MX titles as well as five Campeon de Campeones.
An 8,000-seat stadium, Toyota Field opened in 2013 and has been the home of the USL club San Antonio FC since the spring of 2016. The facility was acquired in 2015 by the City of San Antonio and Bexar County, in partnership with Spurs Sports & Entertainment who now control all operations of the facility along with the neighboring STAR Soccer Complex.
