San Antonio FC will celebrate San Antonio culture and pride when they host the first ‘Viva Night’ of the season this Saturday at Toyota Field, presented by H-E-B. In addition, SAFC will debut the brand new ‘Viva Kit’ as they welcome Birmingham Legion FC at 7:30 p.m.
The ‘Viva Kit’ is the club’s third alternate jersey in 2021 and will be worn for the first time this weekend. The jersey helps celebrate San Antonio heritage and dons a familiar color scheme to go along with the traditional SAFC black. The jerseys are now on sale at the Soccer Factory or at SAFCfanshop.com.
The fun starts as fans enter the door as the first 1,000 people in the building will receive an SAFC Viva-themed car magnet. In addition, the first 100 children in the gates will get a ‘Viva Night’ flower crown. Once in the stadium, fans will feel the culture within the atmosphere at Toyota Field. SAFC papel picado will hang around the stadium, and the Toyota Field goal nets will have a certain San Antonio flair to them.
Fans will also have authentic San Antonio food options to choose from during Saturday’s match. In addition to the new Burgerteca and La Gloria dining options at Toyota Field, SAFC will also offer jalapeno sausage wraps on ‘Viva Night’. La Gloria will also offer chamoy mangonadas and pork pibil nachos in addition to having a food truck on site.
Saturday is the first of three ‘Viva Nights’ on the schedule in 2021. Tickets to Saturday’s game can be purchased by calling or texting 210-444-5657 or by visiting www.sanantoniofc.com. For updates this week leading into the game, fans can following SAFC on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
