SAFC Mailbag Volume 4
December 14, 2016
Welcome to the SAFC Mailbag. Each week starting on Monday, fans can submit their questions to San Antonio FC via the club’s social media channels. Then, on Wednesday of that week, the club will answer select questions from fans on www.sanantoniofc.com.
Be sure to continue submitting questions and yours could be answered in an upcoming edition of the SAFC Mailbag.
See below for this week’s SAFC Mailbag answers:
Ryan Lefaivre (@ryanlefavorite) via Twitter: Can we see more academy games at TF? The last one was a lot of fun! Those kids were savages!
www.sanantoniofc.com: Saturday’s SAFC Pro Academy games at Toyota Field were a great success and we thank the fans and supporters for coming out to cheer on #OurFuture. The remaining Pro Academy matches in the Spring will be at the STAR Complex. We plan to make the public more aware of those match times going forward. Based on the incredible atmosphere and response that last Saturday represented, we will look at ways to make this an annual event for our club.
Doug Smith via Facebook: What is the biggest goal you expect to achieve after having an entire off-season going into the second season versus last year's abbreviated off-season?
www.sanantoniofc.com: As a club, we are always looking to improve in every aspect whether that be on the field or off of it. Having a full off-season to prepare for the 2017 USL campaign gives us a chance to evaluate the things that we did well in 2016 as well as the things we can improve on. With more time to plan for 2017, we hope give fans an improved product on game day as well as a competitive team on the pitch led by Darren Powell.
Scott Barowsky via Facebook: Will mission city firm get a cannon for next season?
www.sanantoniofc.com: Sounds dangerous.
