
San Antonio FC will host FC Dallas (MLS) in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 6 at Toyota Field at 7:30 p.m. SAFC advanced to the fourth round after defeating the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (USL) in the third round on penalty kicks. Tickets to the Open Cup match will go on sale to the general public today at 4 p.m., and can be purchased by visiting www.sanantoniofc.com or by calling 210-444-5657.
San Antonio has never faced FC Dallas in an official competition, but the two clubs have faced each other once in each of the last two preseasons. In 2016, SAFC fell 1-2 to FC Dallas prior to the start of the regular season, while SAFC earned a 2-0 win in prior to the 2018 campaign. FC Dallas won the U.S. Open Cup in 2016 after defeating the New England Revolution 4-2 in the final. The MLS side currently sits in fourth place in the MLS Western Conference standings with a 4-1-5 record.
