Quotes:
Head Coach Carlos Llamosa
(On the performance…)
“First of all, it’s good to have those kind of games for the academy guys, especially young guys, if you’re 17, 18, to have that experience to step on the field against a European team, so, besides the result, that would be in their career, in their memory, in their life forever, so it’s a good exercise. We should do a little bit better to compete, but it’s a good experience for everybody.”
(On former SAFC player and current academy coach PC playing…)
“Normally he’s here on a daily basis with the first team in training, sometimes as a coach, and sometimes he step in to cover someone if we need extra numbers in practice, so he’s a familiar face for everybody. He’s a legend in San Antonio, so this is a good opportunity to see PC out there. He did well, I believe. We only had 45 minutes planned for him, and he gave us 70, which is good for him. He’s still got it, the touches, the passes, so it’s good to see a legend back on the field for once.”
