
SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 4, 2026) – San Antonio FC today announced it has added defender Brian Guevara on a USL academy agreement, pending league and federation approval. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 18-year-old has been a part of the SAFC Pro Academy presented by Ricos since 2018. He played with San Antonio FC 2 in the team’s inaugural USL League Two season this year, tallying one goal in 760 minutes in six matches played. Guevara also saw action with the first team in previous international friendlies, including Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa in 2024 and Spanish side UD Las Palmas in 2025.
Additionally, San Antonio FC has mutually parted ways with academy signing Landry Walker as he pursues other soccer opportunities.
San Antonio FC returns home to host FC Tulsa this Saturday, Sept. 5. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
