
Argentine goal scorers rewarded for performances against Indy Eleven
SAN ANTONIO (August 4, 2026) – San Antonio FC forward Cristian Parano and defender Emil Cuello have been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week following the squad’s 3-1 triumph over Indy Eleven over the weekend.
Parano receives his second selection after recording his first brace this season in 73 minutes of action, giving him three goals in the last two matches. The playmaker found the back of the net twice in the second half, while also completing a perfect 45 of 45 passes and finishing the match with a 100% shot accuracy.
Cuello earns a spot on the Team of the Week bench after opening the scoring in the 25th minute. The veteran wingback played 81 minutes, creating three chances while registering a 94% passing accuracy.
The Argentine duo makes it 21 team selections for SAFC this season by 12 different players.
San Antonio FC hits the road again to take on Louisville City FC this Saturday, Aug. 8. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+. The 2026 season is presented by Toyota.
