Juan Agudelo becomes fifth goal scorer for SAFC in preseason
SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 8, 2025) – San Antonio FC secured its second consecutive preseason victory, defeating Southern Methodist University 2-1 Saturday at Toyota Field.
After a scoreless first half, San Antonio broke the deadlock early out of the break with a header from Juan Agudelo.
Luke Haakenson followed up with his second goal in as many matches, finding some space in the final third and beating the goalkeeper to double the lead. SMU was able to pull back within a score in the final minutes for a final score of 2-1.
