Attacker Boasts 12 Career USL Championship Goals with LA Galaxy II
SAN ANTONIO (April 6, 2023) – San Antonio FC has signed forward Kai Koreniuk to a 25-day contract, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He is a versatile attacker with a tremendous upside,” said head coach Alen Marcina. “Kai possesses the unique skillset to combine and beat players off the dribble, demonstrates well-timed vertical runs, and is clinical in the box. He is committed and motivated to learn and adapt to our Team Identity as quickly as possible.”
Koreniuk spent 2019-21 in MLS with LA Galaxy, scoring his first MLS goal in 2020. While on loan with USL Championship side LA Galaxy II that includes 12 goals and five assists in 41 matches.
Born in Ormond Beach, Fla., Koreniuk has featured for the Netherlands U-16 and U-18 squads, scoring twice with the U-18 team. In four caps with the U.S. U-17 squad, Koreniuk scored one goal.
Koreniuk began his professional career with Vitesse Arnhem of Eredivisie in the Netherlands. In the final season of his four years with the club, Koreniuk scored 10 goals in 19 matches with the club’s U-21 team.
