Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the result…)
“Very happy with our progression through the preseason. Again, the results are not our concern, it’s demonstrating our team identity to see where we’re at. Actually very very pleased to see our pro players playing, I think they were fantastic. Definitely demonstrated our team identity. Executed our principles very very well. Unfortunate not to get more than just one goal, and were dominant. So very happy to see where we’re at, but still have a lot … more to go.”
Midfielder PC
(On his first match back on the field…)
“It was amazing. I Was so happy to be back on the field with the guys. It’s very different in a [training] session versus the game. I know it’s not the season yet, but it’s a game. For us it doesn’t matter if it’s a preseason game or a season game. For us every game we go 100 percent to win. So it was very special for me to be back with the guys.”
