Quotes:
Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the win…)
“For me, great teams are consistent. And I think our mentality has been excellent
all season long. Attacking, we were very good. We need to continue to get better there. Definitely moments we were good. Opportunity to improve and get better, and our pressing actions were outstanding. And just proud of the collective to respond from last week, get well deserved three points against a difficult opponent. An opponent who’s beat coloardo, an opponent who’s beat Louisville away. It’s a strong opponent, and just incredibly proud of the collective.”
Forward Santiago Patiño
(On returning from injury…)
“The team … does a great job on the mental side. We have a great mentality and
attitude. One of the things we do is we never give up. The game was tied and I had the opportunity to come on the field and left everything I had. I was grateful that ball came in from PC and I was able to score.”
