MLS Veteran has Appeared in 74 Matches for Seattle Sounders FC since 2017
SAN ANTONIO (May 19, 2022) – San Antonio FC has signed midfielder Jordy Delem for the 2022 season pending league and federation approval, the club announced today. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He brings a wealth of experience at the international and MLS level and is a culture giver and on-field leader,” said Head Coach Alen Marcina. “Jordy is a ball-winning box-to-box midfielder who is ultra-competitive and resilient, essential components of our team identity standards.”
Delem has appeared in 74 matches over the last five MLS seasons, including 46 starts and racking up almost 4,000 minutes played. The midfielder has scored once and assisted three times, while posting a season passing accuracy over 80% three times.
In Seattle’s MLS Cup run in 2019, Delem appeared in all four postseason matches including the final which Seattle won. Delem has also competed in the CONCACAF Champions League, as well as 44 caps for the Martinique National Team. Across nearly 4,000 minutes in international competition, Delem has scored seven times.
Prior to signing with the Sounders first team, Delem appeared in 19 matches (18 starts) matches for Seattle Sounders 2 in 2016. For his career, the native of Martinique has appeared in 29 USL Championship matches with Tacoma Defiance.
Delem and SAFC are back in action next Saturday, May 28 on the road at Rio Grande Valley FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT, with the match broadcast on ESPN+.
