San Antonio FC forward Shawn Chin sustained a fracture to the right tibial plateau in the first half of San Antonio’s Open Cup match at the Houston Dynamo on June 15. Chin is expected to miss the remainder of the 2016 USL season.
Chin has appeared in 11 USL matches, starting seven and playing a total of 587 minutes. The striker tallied two goals and one assist in the league this season and also appeared in two U.S. Open Cup matches, tallying 70 minutes.
Chin joined San Antonio FC prior to the season after spending the 2015 campaign with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League.
