Centro San Antonio, in partnership with San Antonio FC, will host a watch party at Travis Park starting at 7:30 p.m. for the opening Copa America group stage match for US Soccer against Colombia on Friday June 3.
San Antonio soccer fans will have a chance to enjoy the match while sampling local San Antonio food trucks and having the opportunity to purchase new SAFC merchandise. Select San Antonio FC players will be on hand to watch the USA take on Colombia with fans from across the Alamo City.

This event is free and open to the public and will be hosted by San Antonio media personality Geoff Sheen. A face painter will be on hand and fans will also have opportunities to win tickets to upcoming San Antonio FC matches. The U.S. Men’s National Team kicks off against Colombia at 8:30 p.m. in their first of three Copa America Centenario group stage matches.
Named after former Alamo commandant William Barret Travis, Travis Park is located in downtown San Antonio across from the historic Saint Anthony Hotel. The park was originally a part of the Alamo Mission at San Antonio and hosts multiple outdoor events throughout the calendar year. The park is both wheelchair accessible and along multiple bus routes, including VIA’s free E circulator.
Copa America Centenario will be the first Copa America tournament held outside of South America, and will be hosted in the United States from June 3 to June 26. The tournament is recognized as one of the most prestigious in the world and will feature teams from North and South America. This summer marks the 45th Copa America tournament and a special edition in honor of the 100-year anniversary of the first Copa America in 1916.
