
SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 26, 2026) – San Antonio FC has signed forward Andres Paredes, pending league and federation approval. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are happy to welcome Andres back to San Antonio,” said SAFC Head Coach Carlos Llamosa. “Last season, we saw firsthand what his speed, creativity and ability to make an impact in the final third can provide for our attack, and we’re excited to have him back on the field this season.”
Paredes returns for his second season in the Alamo City, having joined SAFC initially ahead of the 2025 campaign. The attacker recorded three goals and two assists over 1,122 minutes in 16 appearances across all competitions for San Antonio before sustaining a season-ending injury in July.
Prior to arriving stateside, Paredes competed with one of Colombia’s most historic clubs in Millonarios FC. The Arauca, Colombia native progressed through the club’s U20 side before joining the first team in 2023, featuring in 29 matches to help Millonarios capture the 2023 Torneo Apertura title. He was also part of the club’s Superliga Colombiana-winning squad in 2024.
San Antonio FC is back in action this weekend, traveling to New Mexico United this Saturday, Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
