SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 19, 2026) – San Antonio FC has loaned forward EJ Johnson to USL League One side Corpus Christi FC for the remainder of the 2026 season, the club announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Johnson signed with SAFC earlier this season, scoring in his club debut against ASC New Stars in the U.S. Open Cup on March 18. He featured in 11 matches across all competitions, recording six shots in 373 minutes of play.
San Antonio FC plays host to Oakland Roots SC this Saturday, Aug. 22 at Toyota Field. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+. The 2026 season is presented by Toyota.
