San Antonio FC earned its first win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Las Vegas Lights 2-1 at Toyota Field. Goals from Bradford Jamieson IV and Ever Guzman helped seal the victory for the Alamo City club.

  • San Antonio FC forward Ever Guzman was named the SWBC Man of the Match after scoring his second goal of the season tonight. Guzman’s 17 goals in USL Championship play and 18 goals in all competitions are both franchise records for SAFC.

What Happens vs. Vegas

  • With tonight’s win, San Antonio FC has now defeated the Las Vegas Lights for the third time in club history. SAFC has outscored Las Vegas 7-3 in those matches, and forward Ever Guzman has scored four goals against the Nevada club.

The Firsts

  • SAFC forward Bradford Jamieson IV scored his first goal for San Antonio this season after joining on loan from LA Galaxy in the preseason. The game also marked Jamieson IV’s first home start for the club. His teammate – SAFC defender Johnny Fenwick – made his professional and club debut, playing 34 minutes as a second-half substitute and recording a team-high six clearances.
